Etiquette and Fighting "Phubbing" are Essential Components of Digital Citizenship

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

"Phubbing" is using your phone to snub. The concept applies to ignoring the people you are with or your surroundings. Phubbing can negatively impact relationships, attention span, dopamine balance, emotional intelligence, and health in general. This is a problem within society as a whole and for educators specifically. We invite you to share in our discussion of how we can find the courage and confidence to embrace technology purposefully by building habits to thrive as digitally literate citizens in the 21st century.
